The Watson Steam Train & Depot opened May 1 and will operate on weekends through October. Train rides will be available for children on one of the two trains each weekend. The 1948 coal fired Ottaway Steam Train and the 1959 Ottaway Streamliner will take turns operating on Saturdays 10 AM - 6 PM and Sundays Noon - 6 PM weather permitting. The cost for a train ride is $2.00. The depot has railroad artifacts on display. The gift shop area offers Watson Steam Train & Depot items. Located in the Missouri Valley City Park | |
