John W. Kellogg II is a third generation attorney practicing law in Missouri Valley, Iowa. His grandfather, Clarence W. Kellogg began the practice of law in Missouri Valley in the mid 1890's until his death in 1947. John W. Kellogg, Sr. began practicing in 1984 until his death in 1977.

John W. Kellogg II the current practitioner, graduated from Creighton University School of Law in December 1972 and joined his father in January, 1974. He served as Harrison County Attorney in 1975 and '76, followed by being a city attorney in Missouri Valley, Woodbine, and Modale. He has served as president of the Southwest Iowa Bar Association and the Harrison County Bar Association.
