The Missouri Valley Chamber offers numerous free events and attractions.  These are our annual events but we are adding more every year.  Check our Home page for new and current events happening in and around Missouri Valley!

The annual awards are given for Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Teacher of the Year, Youth Volunteer, Adult Volunteer, Employee, Business Beautification, and Lifetime Achievement.
The chili and soup cook-off pits 17 entrants against each other to win the coveted traveling trophy for best chili or soup.  Several other awards are given such as hottest chili, best decorated table, and people's choice!
For 4 Thursdays in a row starting with the 2nd Thursday in June, you can come enjoy free live music in the city park starting at 7:00 p.m.
The annual parade held the Saturday of the fair includes bands, floats, antique cars, fire trucks, horses and much more!
Kids love this annual event where they can play on several inflatables, ride the ponies or the lawn mower train, and hunt for money in the straw!  All FOR FREE!
Kids dressed up in their costumes parade down Huron Street led by the High School marching band.  At the end of the parade they can enjoy a free hotdog, orange drink, and treat bag!
Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
Come join your neighbors for the annual tree lighting ceremony.  There are carolers, free hot chocolate and apple cider, goodie bags for all the kids and the Mayor places the star atop the tree.
Lincoln Highway Buy-way
Garage Sale
For a nominal fee you can set up a table and be on this well-traveled Lincoln Highway garage sale route.  Or come out to the city park and browse through the multitude of merchandise!
Business Person's BBQ
Each year towards the end of summer, the Chamber directors dig out their grill and serve up free hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and a drink to all our hard-working business people in town.
Spring Fling Car Show
& Swap Meet
Over 30 classic cars spend a Sunday in June in Mo. Valley.  Come look at the cars, talk to the proud owners and check out the swap meet while you are there in the city park.
Annual Aronia Berry Festival
The 3rd weekend of September is set aside for the annual Aronia Berry Festival.  There are vendors, demonstrations, & presentations by some of the best organic and ag experts in the country.  Friday is set aside as "kid's day" and includes cooking with the berries, making crafts, and learning more about the methods for growing organic plants.
