The Chamber is looking for local talent to perform at this year's Music in the Park. The first night will be Local Talent night,Thursday June 14th at 7:00 p.m. Do you like to sing? Are you good at Karaoke? Would you like to perform at Music in the Park on June 14th? Please contact the Chamber at 642-2553 - we would love to "put you on the bill"!

UPCOMING CHAMBER EVENTS:
NEW EVENT!! June 1 & 2, 2012: Mighty Mo Rodeo. Friday and Saturday nights at the fairgrounds grandstand. Over 200 contestants competing. Events start at 7:30, gates open at 6:00, admission price is $10. Beer Garden & Food Stand at Grandstand. Live "City Limit Band" starting at 9:30 in 4-H building Saturday night!! June 3rd: Spring Fling Car Show and Swap Meet. Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. come to the Missouri Valley City Park and see some awesome cars, including vintage Corvettes, and participate in the swap meet. The cost to enter a car or truck is $10 ($15 day of show) and dash plaques will be given to the first 50 registrations. FREE ADMISSION! June 14th - July 12th, each Thursday: Music in the Park. Every Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. come to the city park and enjoy an hour of fabulous music brought to you by the Missouri Valley Chamber and the Omaha Musician's Association. June 14th is "Local Talent Night"; then June 21st through July 12th each Thursday will be a different band playing everything from classic rock to country western music. The bands are always great and you can enjoy a nice evening under the trees at the park while they entertain you. Bring your lawn chair, a snack, and your favorite beverage as you relax and listen to great music!
MIGHTY MO RODEO! June 1st & 2nd at Missouri Valley Grandstand. Gates open at 6:00, event starts at 7:30. Over 200 contestants!! Live CIty Limit Band in 4-H building following rodeo Saturday night.
Spring Fling Car Show and Swap Meet coming June 3rd to Missouri Valley City Park! The Midwest Early Corvette Club and many other car clubs will be in attendance. If you would like to sponsor a trophy for only $15, please contact the Chamber office at 642-2553.

Watson Steam Train Depot & Museum is open once again for the season! Regular hours are Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. & Sunday from noon to 5:00 p.m. THE TRAIN WILL BE RUNNING ON MEMORIAL DAY FROM NOON TO 5:00 so bring the kids and have a picnic in the park and enjoy a ride on the steam train!
